Alonia “Destiny Diva” Jones, an award-winning journalist, captivating and witty speaker, challenging teacher/trainer and accomplished author. She is the former founder and publisher of IMANI Magazine, which received national acclaim to include a letter of commendation from the White House during George Bush's administration and the Alumnae Achievement Award in Media and Communications from Spelman College. However, she experienced a major crisis when she could no longer publish the magazine and eventually lost everything in an effort to try and keep it going. When she ended her pity party, her works as a journalist ended up placing her in an awards category with Susan Taylor (former editor-in-chief of ESSENCE magazine) and romance novelist, Zane.

Alonia continued her career as a journalist and has written compelling and impressive features on countless notables across the southeastern region of the country.  Rising from her life's challenges, she has made a commitment to sharing with as many people as possible that if she could end her pity party and embrace her life’s destiny, anyone can. By using her diverse 20+-years’ experience as a communications professional, she is equipped to empower other women to do just as her company’s mantra says: “helping you get from where you are to where you want to be.” Doing so only reinforces her life’s purpose, which is to help usher others into their destiny through the utilization of her expert communication skills, both written and verbal.
